For the third session of "What is Fascism?" we will be focusing on Germany. Please find below the materials you should prepare before class. Nota bene, I have made the reading of selections from Mein Kampf optional. If you can print the "25 Points" and take notes on Triumph of the Will and bring them to class, that would be helpful.
For the document and film, think about the messages being sent by both. How do they portray the ideals and goals of the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP, National Socialist German Workers' Party)? What do they include or exclude based on our knowledge of the legacy of the Nazi Party?
